Carlton Mosque Lifesavers

On Saturday 14 June 2025, Melbourne Muslims gathered at the Albanian Australian Islamic Society Mosque for a hands-on lifesaving skills workshop run by AIMA Victoria.

Held between Asr and Maghrib prayers, the session welcomed over 30 men, women and children from the local community. Participants were introduced to vital first aid techniques including CPR and recovery positions, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge to respond in emergency situations.

The event fostered both learning and connection, highlighting the importance of health literacy and practical preparedness within our community spaces. We thank all those who attended and contributed to making this initiative a success.
