🌙 Ramadan Iftar Night – Healthcare Community Event 🩺✨
We’re excited to invite healthcare students, staff, and professionals to a special Iftar evening affiliated with AIMA and hosted in collaboration with iSmile Dental Clinic x WRUMS x MARWA 🤝 This event welcomes both Muslim and non-Muslim attendees. Our aim is to bring people together to foster understanding of Ramadan and explore what fasting means in a healthcare context — particularly when caring for patients who observe Ramadan. 🏥💬 The evening (7:00–9:00pm, Senior Hall – date : Monday the 16th of March) will include: • A short reflection on the purpose of Ramadan beyond fasting 🌿 • A fun interactive Kahoot quiz 🎯 • Time for networking and discussion 🤝 • Iftar meal (free food provided) 🍽️✨ Whether you are fasting or simply curious to learn, you are warmly welcome. 🌙

The Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) NSW JMOs and Student Wing presents a special evening celebrating Eid Al Fitr Join us as we come together in gratitude at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan. This gathering will be an opportunity to celebrate Eid in a warm and welcoming environment with fellow members of the community. The evening will include opportunities to network, meet like-minded people, enjoy Islamic reminders, and strengthen our faith while building meaningful connections within the Muslim medical community and beyond. Event Details:
  • Date: Saturday, 28 March 2026
  • Time: Doors open from 6:00 PM
  • Location: Yarra Community Centre, 10 Uhrig Rd, Lidcombe NSW 2141
  • Access: Approximately a 10-minute walk from Sydney Olympic Park Train Station
  • Open to: Healthcare students, junior medical officers and other early career healthcare workers
We look forward to celebrating this joyous occasion together and sharing an uplifting evening of community, reflection, and connection. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are eligible for a refund, less the payment processing fee, if requested on or before 25 March 2026. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable.
