AIMA Statement on the Bondi Shooting

The Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) strongly denounces the violent incident in Bondi and any act that threatens the lives and safety of Australian community.

There is no justification for such violence. Responsibility must be met with justice through lawful processes.

We extend our sincere sympathy to those who were harmed, their families, and all who have been shaken by this tragic event. As healthcare professionals, we recognise the lasting physical and emotional impact of such incidents and encourage anyone affected to seek care and support.

At this difficult time, we call on Australians to support one another, uphold compassion, and stand united against violence, reaffirming our shared responsibility for community wellbeing and public safety.

Urgent Blood Donation Appeal in response to the Bondi attack

At times of tragedy, the Muslim community is called to respond with compassion, service and action.

Through AIMA’s blood donation drive, our community supports life-saving efforts when urgently needed.

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood has issued urgent calls for blood donations in response to the Bondi attack.
