The South Australian chapter of the Australian Islamic Medical Association hosted a mid-year BBQ on Saturday 6 July 2025, bringing together Muslim healthcare professionals and students from across the state. Held at Bonython Park in Adelaide, the event offered a relaxed atmosphere that allowed for meaningful connection, the sharing of experiences, and mentorship.
The winter sun was out as dozens gathered for the casual get-together, featuring a delicious BBQ lunch, refreshments, and open conversation.
AIMA SA continues to provide a platform for Muslim healthcare workers to connect, collaborate and support one another throughout the year.
With strong attendance and positive feedback, the July BBQ set a promising tone for future gatherings, as AIMA continues its mission of uniting Muslim healthcare professionals through faith, service and fellowship.
