The Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) SA was blessed to have the opportunity to participate in this year’s International Food Fiesta on Friday 2 August 2024, hosted by the Adelaide Medical Student’s Society (AMSS). We served biriyani, chicken curry, Malaysian pastries, and dates. Expecting only 50-60 customers, we were delighted to welcome over 100 people! Despite our uncertainty about how the crowd would receive our offerings, we sold out in just 30 minutes and were thrilled to win first place for the most dishes sold. Alhamdulillah. We look forward to more opportunities to serve the community in the future, InshaAllah.
