AIMA NSW hosts first gathering in Bathurst

The Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) New South Wales Chapter marked a new milestone with its first-ever get-together in Bathurst on Wednesday 9 July 2025.

Held at the Bathurst Seymour Centre, the evening brought together Muslim healthcare professionals and their families for a warm night of connection, conversation, and community spirit.

The event was opened by Dr Maria Rasool, and joining online were Dr Muhammad Afzal Kahloon, National President of AIMA, and Dr Sara Yusuf, Secretary of the AIMA NSW Chapter. Both shared their insights and encouragement, highlighting AIMA’s ongoing mission to unite and empower Muslim healthcare professionals across Australia.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner as they connected with fellow attendees, laying the foundations for future collaboration and support among Muslim healthcare professionals in the Central West region of NSW.
