AIMA NSW Annual Lunch meeting and CME event

The Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) – NSW Chapter held its Annual Lunch meeting and CME event on Sunday 27 October 2024 at the Parra Villa Function Centre in Parramatta.

The event attracted a large number of healthcare professionals and opened with a Qur’an Recitation by Dr Muhammad Shakibur Rahman.

AIMA NSW President Dr Naing Win welcomed the attendees, setting a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

Following the welcome, Dr Muhammad Afzal Kahloon, AIMA’s National President shared insights on the organisation’s past, present, and future.

After enjoying a delicious lunch featuring Indian, Pakistani, and Middle Eastern cuisines, Dr Faisal Choudhary delivered a presentation on cough investigations and lung cancer screening guidelines, which was followed by a questions and answers session.

AIMA’s highly anticipated 2nd National Conference to be held in April 2025 was announced during the event, with participants encouraged to register at www.aimaconference.com.
