On Friday 13 February 2026, AIMA Western Australia kicked off its 2026 year in style with a Sunset Sundowner at Sir James Mitchel Park on the South Perth Foreshore — a relaxed and memorable evening by the water that brought together students, JMOs, and the newly formed AIMA WA committee.
As the golden hour settled over the foreshore, attendees gathered for free food, fun games, and good company — the kind of easy, unhurried connection that sets the tone for a great year ahead. The evening took on a reflective quality as the group came together in prayer and shared Ramadan reflections with Dr Fahad, a fitting and meaningful way to mark the approach of the blessed month.
The launch also gave the new committee an opportunity to introduce themselves and share some exciting announcements for students and JMOs in the year ahead.
